Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre is a professional touring theater company, but with a twist: The troupe works with local kids to put on the show, providing professional sets, props, costumes and direction. Plymouth parks and recreation has worked with Prairie Fire before, putting on productions including Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast. “Prairie Fire has been a great organization to work with,” recreation supervisor for arts and music Alyssa Krumholz says. Each fall, Plymouth Arts Council jazz chairwoman Wilma Pryor coordinates the Jazz Impressions concert.
