The Lake Minnetonka Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will honor veterans at its annual Veterans Day Salute to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion of Normandy during World War II. The program will feature a performance of big band and patriotic music by the Minnetonka Civic Orchestra, along with inspirational speakers including Bronze Star Medal recipient, U.S. Air Force Major General Maureen Banavige and Vietnam Veteran, Gary Nash, who will share thoughts on the D-Day anniversary.
