The show features over a hundred beautiful quilts made by guild members. Quilts of alltypes will be on display including: bed quilts, wall quilts, applique, paper piecing, art quilta and many mofe. Come and enjoy these beautiful quilts with your family and your friends.

Loring Park Art Festival

artists converge on Loring Park, a beautiful green space in west
Minneapolis, for this annual juried festival. Check out paintings,

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

You are invited to West Lutheran High School Players' production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! 

Willy Wonka is opening the doors of his world-famous chocolate factory to five lucky children and their parents--and you're invited! Join Charlie, Augustus, Veruca, Violet, and Mike on their delicious adventure through the amazing chocolate factory. Many surprises await you, including Willy Wonka's group of mischievous Oompa-Loompas who love to sing and dance at any moment! Come join the fun.

Fabulous Armadillos with the Del Counts

The Fabulous Armadillos are a Minnesota-born band with a strong following of fans—also known as Dilloheads—in their home state. They specialize in recreating classic songs from a wide variety of genres, including country, Motown, heavy metal and soft rock, so any concert is sure to be a rocking walk down memory lane. Joining them is seasoned Minnesota rock-and-roll band the Del Counts. 21 years and older. $25–$35. Winter Bluegrass Weekend

This annual three-day event draws thousands of bluegrass fans for concerts, dances, workshops, vendors, impromptu jam sessions, and good old-fashioned bluegrass music. Best of all, it’s indoors! This year’s Saturday night headliner is the Becky Buller Band, led by Buller, a Minnesota native who plays a mean fiddle. Get a head start on the musical madness with an early bird jam session on Thursday night. Tickets available daily ($20 Friday, $25 Saturday and $5 Sunday) or $40 for a weekend pass. The Illusionists

When it comes to magic, there’s a huge variety of artists and acts—grand illusionists, card tricksters, acrobats and more. It’s not often, however, that one show covers the whole gamut. But this month, seven world-renowned illusionists come together to create a spectacular and diverse showcase of unbelievable feats. The Manchurian Candidate

Start with a decorated American soldier, throw in a dash of brainwashing, a few pinches of dastardly schemes plus a beautifully scored opera, and what do you get? The world premiere of The Manchurian Candidate, performed by the Minnesota Opera this month. Based on the novel by Richard Condon, the opera follows soldier Raymond Shaw as he is brainwashed into becoming a ruthless assassin against the U.S. government. Will his fellow soldier be able to stop him before the end of this heart-pounding thriller? Formal opera attire is not required at this performance. $25–$200. Times vary. Pentatonix: On My Way Home Tour
