Pop-Up Movie in the Dome: 'Coco'

The City of Plymouth will hold a free “Pop-Up Movie in the Dome” at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at the Plymouth Creek Center Fieldhouse dome, 14800 34th Ave. N.

The indoor event will feature a showing of the movie Coco, rated PG. In this animated family-friendly film, a boy journeys into the Land of the Dead to seek forgiveness from his ancestors and lift a curse.

Leonard Bernstein’s Candide presented by VocalEssence and Theater Latté Da

Romance and comedy abound in this theatrical concert version of the classic operetta, originally adapted from a work by Voltaire. The VocalEssence Ensemble Singers and Chorus, accompanied by a full orchestra, present a rousing “opera for the people.”

All ages. $35—45.

Children’s Theatre Company’s World Premiere of The Hobbit

Experience an epic journey of unlikely hero Bilbo Baggins in an on-stage adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved novel. Follow Bilbo’s magically mystical adventure over freezing mountains and frightening forests and even meet a variety of fierce creatures along the way.

Music in Plymouth

The City of Plymouth presents Music in Plymouth at the Hilde Performance Center on July 2nd at 5:30pm. This event is welcome to everyone for free so bring your family and friends.

Music in Plymouth is a 4th of July celebration for our whole community. There will be plenty of activities for people of all ages. Including food trucks and fireworks. For the kids there are plently of game booths set up around the Hilde along with balloon artists walking around. For the adults there will be an orchestra to start off the night followed by fire twirlers and the fireworks. Read more about Music in Plymouth
