What do Willie Nelson, Led Zeppelin, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert and Heart all have in common? Yes, they all have the letter “E” in their names. No, that’s not the answer.

A Vikings fan just like his dad, Plymouth resident Paul Charchian always has been interested in football—though he only made it as far as backyard ball with his friends. Still, Charchian hosted his first fantasy draft in 1980 in the Eden Prairie Central Middle School cafeteria.

Gloria Rice’s neighbors must love her. In the 16 years she and her husband, Tim Cassidy, have resided in Plymouth, she has worked to create an ideal spot for birds in her backyard. “I planted serviceberry trees to attract cedar waxwings and robins,” Rice explains.
