This year, Entertainment in the Park returns to the Hilde Performance Center, featuring a phenomenal lineup of 11 different artists through the months of June and July, as well as the annual Plymouth Sings event and Kids Fest in August.

Lindsay Weigelt and her husband, J.C. Weigelt, travel and outdoor enthusiasts, have been taking their kids, Bennett, 7, and Finley, 4, on cool trips since they were infants.

There are adventure programs galore at Plymouth Parks and Recreation, with options anywhere from golf, archery and sailing lessons for kids as young as 3, to sunset yoga for adults and everything in between.

A few distinctive features include the exterior projection screen mounted to posts 20 feet off the ground, a full wet bar and a screen porch. A ladder leads to the second-story loft, where a queen bed provides a place for Dunn to spend the night.

Minnesota might be a landlocked state, but that’s no excuse for not getting out on the water when the weather permits. After all, we are in the land of 10,000 lakes and Medicine Lake, the second-largest in Hennepin County, is right in our backyard.
