Orchards in October

Stop by one of these three orchards for fun fall activities.

Knapton’s
Open from 9 a.m. until sunset, this is a great stop if you want to pick your own fruits and vegetables. A working farm, Knapton’s encourages families to bring a wagon out to explore their 10-12 acres of land in search of the perfect pumpkin.

5695 Hwy 55, Rockford
9 a.m.–sunset

Apple Jack Orchards
Bring your family out to Delano to experience fall fun at Apple Jack Orchards. There are many activities for the kids to enjoy on the weekend, such as a zipline, corn maze, petting zoo and apple cannon, but feel free to stop by during the week, too.

4875 37th Street SE, Delano
10 a.m.–6 p.m. every day

Fall Harvest Orchard

Worth the longer drive, come and explore all that this orchard has to offer, including a tire climb, hay bale climb and animals to feed. Take a wagon ride and learn more about the orchard or hop on the trackless train with your kids for a fun ride.

345 County Road 30 SE, Montrose
