Time Out for Trivia Tuesday is Game Night at Old Chicago.
For a mentally stimulating yet enjoyable diversion from the pending holiday stress, take on a trivia challenge at Old Chicago and play Mind Games Live, hosted by Brainy Points, from 8 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays.
Challenge your brain with the ever-changing gamut of great games, including everything from word play and visual acuity to knowledge-based contests. Prizes of $5 to $25 are awarded for the top three teams (of three or more players) each week.
All this brain power takes food power, too, and a little beverage in hand seems only to help the gumption. Late-night happy hour specials begin at 9 p.m. The daily bar special on Tuesdays is a $5 mojito cocktail, a traditional Cuban highball refresher of sparkling water, white rum, simple syrup, lime juice and fresh muddled mint.
For food, cut into shareable, bite-size squares of pizza; pick from the famed Chicago thick crust or tavern thin crust with your choice of toppings. The Meat Me pizza has a fittingly welcome name for a group-size dish: The large 14-inch thick-crust pie is $24.95, while thin crust is $23.50. 3505 Vicksburg Lane, Suite 100; 763.744.1221; oldchicago.com
