You’ll get more than the satisfaction of your favorite wings when dining at Buffalo Wild Wings on June 29. Contributing to a local cause is also in good taste, especially when it comes to helping tornado victims.
Buffalo Wild Wings recently announced it will donate 10 percent of all non-alcoholic sales on June 29 to The Salvation Army’s Tornado Relief Fund. Over 400 restaurants nation-wide are joining the cause.

Don't miss the grand opening celebration of one of Plymouth's newest retail establishments, Any Lab Test Now, a national franchise focused on offering thousands of lab tests in the convenience of a walk-in retail setting.
Among the company's services are blood, urine and hair-follicle analyses for tests including drug, paternity and STD/HIV. Any Lab Test Now also provides pre-employment drug testing, background searches and wellness discount programs for local employers.
Of note: Customers can receive $10 off any lab test through June 30.

Here’s the situation: You need a new friend (doesn’t everyone?), and the Animal Humane Society (9785 Hudson Rd.) has a surplus of them.
June just happens to be Adopt-a-Cat Month, and it’s a time of the year when more and more cats are coming through the doors of the Animal Humane Society, which takes in nearly 20,000 felines each year. Unfortunately, the number of cats far surpasses the number of homes looking to adopt them. That’s where you come in.

Grilling is a fundamental part of South African cuisine. With long summers, South Africans get out and grill as often as possible. While each person has their own style and sometimes their own recipes, we generally grill over wood coals or charcoal. Very few people grill on a gas grill—in fact, to us natives, that practice seems somewhat like sacrilege.

Tonight is opening night for the 15th annual installment of one of Plymouth's premier springtime events, Primavera, celebrating the arts from vocal to visual and beyond.
If you can't make this evening's festivities (5 to 9 p.m. at Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.), never fear! There are four more days filled with oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, graphite drawings, metal sculpture, pottery, photography, fiber art, and mixed media.

Well, we'll just say it: It's about time.
If you're here, you know: Plymouthmag.com has been completely overhauled, and we couldn't be more ecstatic. Seven years ago, when we launched this title, we had the most basic of homepages, with a singular paragraph and an annual "Vote for Best of Plymouth" spreadsheet. That was all the change it had and as interactive as it got.
