For the Past two decades, the Wayzata Community Church has been the performance venue of choice for many local and regional musical groups. “Simply put, it’s a beautiful place to hear and see concerts,” says Tom Paulson, director of music. The Music at Wayzata series has been extremely popular since its inception in 1995, following the remodeling of the church. The resonant acoustics of the space attract groups from around the area to perform. Paulson states that the church takes the “community” part of its name very seriously, and says it’s a blessing to be able to open their doors for such wonderful groups.
