The Return of the Ladies

After 10 years, the cast of our town’s most successful musical comedy reunites.

Audiences have laughed with and recognized the funny and down-to-earth women in Church Basement Ladies since their debut 10 years ago. Now through November 15, audiences will get to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the nationally acclaimed musical comedy at Plymouth Playhouse.

All of the original cast members are back for the reunion, from Pastor E.L. Gunderson played by Tim Drake to the elderly matriarch of the church, Mrs. Lars Snustad, brought to life by Janet Paone.

“It’s a really tight cast,” says Curt Wollan, executive producer of Troupe America and director of the show. “They love working with each other, and it tells a great story … You develop these characters, and you love these characters. That draws you back as an actor.”
