2014 IOCP campaign raises more than $2 million for local families.
During the annual Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners’ 2014 Sleep Out event, community members spent the night in cardboard shelters, slept in their cars, had 24-hour bonfires, walkathons, culinary showcases and more. “We’d like to thank the community for its tireless perseverance and undeniable heart for good,” says Erin Anderson, communications manager at IOCP. The tremendous turnout and the impressive amount of money raised ($2,015,884, to be exact) during the entire 2014 IOCP campaign will allow more than 1,800 families to pay their heating bills, buy groceries and gain skills to earn a living wage.
