The Glass Menagerie is one of theatre’s most cherished and beloved modern plays.

It surrounds the story of the Wingfield family. Amanda, a Southern belle past her prime, is living with her two grown children in a small apartment in St. Louis in the late 1930's. Amanda dreams of a better life for her shy and crippled daughter Laura, who puts her heart into caring for her glass collection and Victrola set. Amanda pushes her son, Tom, to find a “gentleman caller” for Laura. However, the arrival of this gentleman caller sends shockwaves through the family and causes cracks to form in the delicate fantasies that have kept the family going.

Come see a group of passionate, college students perform this lifetime classic. These students have spent the past year studying theatre intensively around the Midwest and the East Coast, as well as working with professional theatre companies this summer, and it is guaranteed that they are not your average group of students. Each person is absolutely in love with their work and is determined to create the absolute best product to honor Mr. Williams’ highly acclaimed, award-winning play.

The show features Bridget McNiff as Amanda, Frankie McLeod as Tom, Katie Halloran as Laura, and Will Phelps as The Gentleman Caller.

After each performance, there will be an arts in context talkback with the entire cast and creative team.
