Providence Academy’s New Arts Facility

Providence Academy’s performing arts expansion should complete Phase 1 by next fall.

Providence Academy broke ground on July 18 on an extensive performing arts center expansion, expected to be ready for the 2014–2015 school year. This addition, part of a large-scale build-out includes office space for middle school and development staff, communications and e–learning products, a conference room and a gathering space for middle schoolers, among other features.

Funding for the expansion was provided through financial gifts to the Make Your Mark–Build The Pride capital campaign, which has run since 2011 with friends and family of Providence students. Among future projects included in the campaign are a complete performing arts center with a 500-seat theater and redesigned outdoor athletic facilities. 15100 Schmidt Lake Road; providenceacademy.org
