Plymouth New Year’s Eve
December 31 If you aren’t into wild parties or really aren’t sure your kids (or you) can stay up until midnight, you’re not out of luck on New Year’s Eve. The Plymouth Ice Center is hosting an event for the whole family, sponsored by the city’s parks and rec department and Abbott West Health. Take everyone swimming or ice skating, spend some time at the craft table, play some games in the open gym, and enjoy the inflatables to bounce on. When you’re all tuckered out, take advantage of a free hot-dog-and-soda meal. All ages. $10 in advance, $13 day of, free for kids younger than 2. 6–9 p.m. Plymouth Ice Center, 3650 Plymouth Blvd.; 763.509.5250; plymouthmn.gov
