Annual Recyclables Drop-off Day in Plymouth

Plymouth’s annual Drop-Off Day saves items from ending up in the landfill.

The 2013 Drop-Off Day for Plymouth residents is May 4, offering local residents the opportunity to dispose of unwanted household goods responsibly. Popular items include furniture, appliances and electronics, but also make sure to bring your often-forgotten recyclables like mattresses and tires. The Salvation Army will also be on hand to accept clothing donations. Any form of payment is accepted; you may luck out, as some items—household batteries, fluorescent lighting, bicycles and more—are free to drop off. A complete list of items accepted, pricing and vendors is available online at plymouthmn.gov. & Drop-Off Day May 4, 7:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Plymouth Maintenance Facility, 14900 23rd Ave. N. 763.509.5906; plymouthmn.govRecycling hotline: 763.509.5513
