The Hutton House is a new event venue on Medicine Lake that is 100-percent women owned and operated. The four co-founders of the venue, Heather Lepper, Nicole Liwienski, Jennifer Rasmussen and Allison Wert came together after they saw a need for more event spaces in the Minneapolis community.
The location is a big aspect of what makes The Hutton House so special. When guests arrive, they will “be transported from the hustle and bustle to a serene tree-lined drive that leads to The Hutton House,” says Rasmussen. Situated right on Medicine Lake, the owners knew the first time they visited the property that it was the perfect location for their venue.
The Tuxedo Farmhouse design was intended to appeal to all types of celebrations, and especially to brides and grooms. Versatility was key in the design process, and the co-founders say their goal is to “introduce a fresh architectural design that is new to the Minneapolis event venue market.”
From the specialty bridal and groom suites, to cocktail hour in the fireside room, to dinner in the lakeside room, to the outdoor courtyard, The Hutton House accommodates a guest’s entire event down to every detail.
“The Hutton House prides itself on guest experience, Midwest hospitality and an impeccable level of personalized service,” says Rasmussen.
The Hutton House welcomes any and all events, but weddings are certainly the most popular. In addition to weddings, The Hutton House has hosted different social celebrations as well as corporate events, and the group looks forward to hosting HH pop up dinners, team building experiences, and cocktail hours in their outdoor courtyard.
