Books for Adults
Broken Ice by Matt Goldman
This adult thriller takes place right here in Minnesota and centers around private eye Nils Shapiro, who is hired to find Linnea Engstrom, a teenage girl who goes missing during the Minnesota high school hockey playoffs. However, somebody does not want Linnea to be found. Shapiro follows a series of clues to Warroad, Minnesota, a small northern city filled with secrets.
Books for Teens
All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
Every member of the Soria family can perform unusual miracles. At the center of this family are three cousins: one who does not have feelings, one who performs miracles for everybody but himself and one who spends his nights running a renegade radio station. All three are looking for a miracle, but in Bicho Raro, Colorado, the miracles might not be what you expect.

Toy Academy: Some Assembly Required by Brian Lynch
Somebody’s stolen Headmaster Hedgehog’s arms, and with those arms, great damage can be done. They have the power to control hundreds of Beat-Bots, which control the school. A toy named Grumbolt and his friends go on a mission to the Evil Toy Academy where they try to solve a mystery and save their school.
