With fall come new fashion trends, and homes are no exception. We asked Elizabeth Cohen, general manager of Studio M Interiors in Plymouth, about the latest colors and textures to freshen up your space.
Cohen says geometrics are in and suggests some ideas on how to fit them into your home. “From fabrics to furniture pieces, we’re seeing shapes and depth but all in a modern style,” she says. Also, bold colors help to offset these patterns and liven up rooms. “Natural colors and organic elements” have been popular, she adds, as they offer a peaceful setting.
Don’t worry about changing your entire house to accommodate these trends. Instead, Cohen suggests switching out draperies, bedding and pillows, and even adding a chair or chest to keep the design for years. These fun, simple tips will keep your home looking fashionable and new.
