Summer Reading at the Library

Programs to keep kids reading through the summer.

When school is out, picking up a book is often the last thing a kid wants to do, but Plymouth Library is here to help. With summer reading programs and events, get kids excited to crack open a new book.

Paws to Read
Kids entering grades 1–3 can practice their literary skills by reading to trained therapy dogs. Volunteers will be available to help kids strengthen their vocabulary and become more confident readers. July 6, 3–4:30 p.m.

Book Clubs
Each month during the summer, the library hosts book clubs for kids and teens to connect and discuss a great read with their peers. With the Junior, Kids and Teen Book Clubs, there is a group and meeting for every reader entering grades 2–9, with options for just girls or just boys clubs for younger kids.
