A Stone’s Throw Away

Plymouth’s longtime source for stone and tile moves across town—but stays in Plymouth.
An example of Stone Source’s craftsmanship.

After more than 10 years of manufacturing and retail sales at the corner of Vicksburg and Highway 55 in Plymouth, Stone Source has moved 3.5 miles away to 13415 Watertower Circle. The direct importer, manufacturer and installer of granite, marble, quartz and tile now has 50,000 square feet from which to offer expanded selections from around the world.

Many are aware of the products Stone Source supplies, but fewer are aware of the five full-time interior designers on staff to serve customers’ needs—at no additional cost. Recently, one Plymouth couple took full advantage, simultaneously completing not just one, but three projects, at one time. “We did a shower, a fireplace and a bar area all in our beautiful stone,” communications specialist Miah Falls says

In the new facility, Stone Source has invested in a state-of-the-art, water-jet CNC cutting machine. “The Fusion is cutting-edge technology that allows us to make the best use of our slabs, thus cutting down on wasted material. In addition, it is much faster than our previous machinery,” Stone Source president Lenny Lome says. “Another huge benefit to our customers is the incredibly consistent level of quality this machine provides.”
