Plymouth youth make their mark through the Teen Advisory Group.
“It can be hard to know what teens are into,” says Jessie Koch, advisor to Plymouth’s Teen Advisory Group (TAG). The group works to solve that disconnect between young adults and their community by acting as a focus group. Each month, about 10 local high school students meet to discuss community events and plan their own activities, like battle of the bands competitions, movie nights and farmers market stands. “It’s good experience to see how things are run behind the scenes,” Koch says.
