Trillium Woods breaks ground as the first senior-care community
in Plymouth.
After years of planning and months of construction, Plymouth’s first life-care center is on track to open next summer. The 46 acres of Trillium Woods is a $161 million development offering members of the retirement community a beautiful protected area with wetlands and a prairie-style housing structure; planners hope to connect the Three Rivers Parks and Northwest Greenway trail systems.
Marketing director Katie Kubinski says the area is beautiful. “It’s surrounded by lakes and hills, so it’s important we connect the trail systems,” she says. The addition of the development also creates 150 full- and part-time jobs. trilliumwoodslcs.com
