A variation on a cool classic.
Looking for a refreshing summer beverage? Mike Moe, assistant manager at the Cellars Wine and Spirits, recommends St. Germain Gin and Tonic. Made from fresh-picked elderflowers, Moe says the French liqueur St. Germain adds a new dimension to the gin and tonic with its sweet, citrus and floral qualities. “Even if you don’t like gin and tonics, you may like this,” he says. —Katie Rucke
Recipe:
1/2 part St. Germain ($32.99 for a bottle)
1 1/2 parts gin (Moe recommends Death’s Door, $32.99)
3 parts tonic water ($1.99)
