Plymouth resident Larry Temple’s first novel, 100 Days of Terror, a suspense thriller, has been winning awards and is being read as far away as Estonia and Australia.
Temple works as a full-time as program manager for a software tech company. “I wrote a lot of it while my daughters were practicing hockey and lacrosse,” says Temple. Temple’s daughters both play for Armstrong H.S. “I’m also lucky enough to have a very supportive wife,” says Temple, “and I was able to write during weekends.”
The concept for the suspense thriller came to Temple about three years ago.
“I let the idea stew in my mind for a while,” Temple says.
Temple’s novel has won the Chanticleer International Book Award and the Beverly Hills Book Award. According to the Beverly Hill’s Book Awards press release, 100 Days of Terror tells the story of FBI agent Noah Reardon who is at the center of the most devastating series of attacks in U.S. history. Singled out and taunted, Reardon and his team attempt to thwart the next attack.
Everyone struggles to understand how the attacks are linked to his time in Afghanistan, or if it is simply a ruse to throw off the investigation. Every day brings more unrelenting destruction and pressure builds for immediate results. How do you track down an unknown number of terrorists living among 330 million who are ghosts popping up and disappearing into the mist only to strike again the next day? Follow Reardon on this journey of terror and redemption as he battles his own demons while attempting to stop the next attack that is always just a day away.
Temple self-published his book through Amazon. The book available in paperback and e-book through amazon.com, paperback at barnesandnoble.com and on Audible.
Over the last weekend in March, Temple did a book giveaway. During this period, 100 Days of Terror hit #1 in the category "Terrorism Thrillers" on the Kindle store.
