It’s mid-summer, and for all you photographers out there that means it’s time
to let your lenses do the talking. Plymouth Magazine again is partnering with
the city of Plymouth to sponsor the Picture Plymouth photo contest, giving all
you photo enthusiasts—whether you consider yourself a pro, amateur, hobbyist or
beginner—a chance to display your work on the pages of this magazine and many
city promotional materials.

“The photo contest is truly a showcase of all of the things that people love
about Plymouth,” says Helen LaFave, city director of communications. “It’s a
treat each year to see what is entered.”

Entries are accepted online August 1–31 at plymouthmag.com, and the fun
doesn’t end there. Readers’ Choice voting is live September 10–30 on the
website, while a panel of judges congregates to decide winners in each category
(People and Families, Wildlife and Nature, Activities and Events, City Landmarks
and Pets), who then receive gift certificates to area restaurants and shops, as
well as a chance at cash prizes.
