Peace Lutheran’s new pastor celebrates change this holiday season.
Peace Lutheran Church is undergoing an exciting change. Kjell Ferris is Peace Lutheran’s new pastor, arriving at the church and bringing a variety of experiences to the community.
“I want to start things in new and exciting ways,” Ferris says. One of Ferris’s focuses for the year will be acceptance of the world changing around us. “One of my first jobs here at Peace Lutheran is to discover what part we can play in accepting that God is working through the change,” she says.
Ferris was a pastor for six years in Anoka and five years in Blaine. An important factor in becoming a new pastor is listening, Ferris says. “I want to hear what Peace Lutheran needs, and listening is the first part of that, figuring out the future.”
