The Birches, a skilled nursing community on the campus of the newly-opened Trillium Woods, is hosting a presentation called, “Preparing for Long-Term Care, A Gift Your Family Deserves,” 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 14585 59th Avenue North in Plymouth.
Guests will learn about how preparing for long-term care and retirement can preserve independence, protect income and assets and reassure family about the future, presented by Thrivent Financial, named the “world's most ethical company” by the Ethisphere Institute for the fourth year in a row.
Attendees will gain insight into The Birches on-site health center, a skilled nursing community featuring private suites. The center provides memory care, long-term care, hospice services and rehabilitation. Its amenities include restaurant-style dining with chef-prepared meals, an outdoor courtyard, porches, and recreational and therapeutic planned activities.
The Birches at Trillium Woods Health Center is available for direct public admission and is now accepting Medicare.
Guests also will have the opportunity to discover what the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) has to offer including independent living options ranging from apartment homes to duplex-style garden homes and luxury-style amenities.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served and a tour of The Birches and Trillium Woods will be provided.
