Behind the scenes of a reality TV show is an assignment locale I had never visited before I crashed the Plymouth set of the DIY Network show Bath Crashers in December.
I’d be remiss to not say it was a little bit exciting as the producer and tech support milled about the remodeled bathroom of one lucky Plymouth woman.
I was alone in that feeling. As the on-air talent was taking their marks, one of the assistants next to me yawned.
Who could blame him? Bath Crashers is based on the concept of remodeling a bathroom in a matter of a few frantic days. This guy and all the rest had worked night and day.
Plymouth contractor Ryan Prosser is a member of this tireless crew. His Prosser Construction company has been on at least 10 sets in the past 15 months.
Amid the gaggle of producers, cameramen and a sound guy, he shared what it’s like to be on a reality TV show and what it’s done for his business.
