Brides-, mothers-of-the-bride- and mothers-in-law-to-be: Unite! This is one event you won’t want to miss if you know someone planning a 2012 wedding (which is why we’re telling you about it a month in advance).

In its fourth year, the Plymouth Bridal Expo showcases Plymouth Creek Center’s three exclusive caterers, Medina Catering, Mintahoe and Town & Country, plus as many as 30 other vendors.

“Rather than rows of exhibits in a giant convention center, the venue is an elegant space that will appeal to wedding couples and showcases the most exceptional wedding services and suppliers today,” says rental coordinator Angie Dehn of Plymouth Creek Center. “I started the expo while I was also in the midst of planning my own wedding. The large bridal shows at the Minneapolis Convention Center can be very overwhelming and also expensive to attend. I attended a few smaller ones and really appreciated being able to talk to the vendors and get questions answered.”

In past years the event has drawn 200 attendees and 30 vendors.

The event will take place at Plymouth Creek Center from noon-3 on March 17. The cost is $2 for a resident if purchased in advance and $4 at the door.
